Simulation
Pit Crew Tycoon
★★★★☆ 4.1
Pit Crew Tycoon flips the racing genre on its head — you never touch a steering wheel. Instead you hire mechanics, tune parts, set pit strategies and sweat through races watching your decisions pay off or fall apart. It scratches a very specific itch for people who like spreadsheets as much as speed.
The sim depth is real. Tyre wear, fuel load, driver morale and the weather all push against each other, and a good strategy can win a race your car had no business winning. We spent one session doing nothing but tweaking setups before a single lap.
It leans heavy on menus, which won't be for everyone, but the simulation underneath is honest and surprisingly tense. A solid pick for the patient, numbers-loving corner of the racing crowd.
